Stockfish

The computer opponents and hints in Gambit Legions use Stockfish, a free chess engine distributed under the GNU General Public License v3. The game contains Stockfish 11 with a small interface added so the game can call the engine directly.

The complete source code of the engine as built into the iOS and Android versions of the game, including our changes, the build scripts, and Stockfish's license and authors list, can be downloaded here:
