Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Mobile Cosmos LLC ("we", "us") collects when you play Gambit Legions (the "Game") or visit gambitlegions.com, why we use it and the choices you have.
Who We Are
Mobile Cosmos LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, is responsible for your personal information. Contact: [email protected].
Information We Collect
- Account: your username, display name and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your email address if you choose to give it.
- Guest play: a device identifier that the operating system provides to this app (on iOS the identifier for vendor) and a random secret, used to restore your guest account on the same device. This is not your advertising identifier.
- Profile: the avatar you choose or the photo you upload (resized on our server), and your country, initially taken from the network country reported by our content delivery network.
- Game data: your cloud save (coins, hints, armies, equipment and progress), match results, statistics, rating, leaderboard and tournament entries.
- Purchases: in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment card details; we only learn which item was bought so we can deliver it.
- Technical data: IP address, device and app version and request times in our server logs, used for security and troubleshooting.
Online Matches
Online matches are connected through Photon, a multiplayer service of Exit Games GmbH (Germany). Photon processes your IP address and the match data needed to relay moves. Your opponent sees your display name, avatar, country and rating. Chat messages you send in a match are delivered to your opponent and are not stored on our servers.
Advertising
The Game shows ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited) and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). These providers may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and information about the ads you see. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in the Game's settings. On iOS, ads are only personalised if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. See Google's privacy policy and Unity's privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To run your account, save your progress and let you play online (performance of our contract with you).
- To run leaderboards, tournaments and rewards, and to keep matches fair (contract and legitimate interests).
- To protect the Game against abuse and fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To show ads, and personalised ads only with your consent (legitimate interests or consent).
We do not sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
Our hosting provider and content delivery network (which receive request data such as your IP address), Exit Games (Photon) for online matches, Google and Unity for ads, and Apple or Google for purchases. Some of them process data outside your country, including in the United States; where required, they use legal safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we delete your profile, save, avatar, statistics, match history and leaderboard entries straight away. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting Your Account
In the Game, open Settings → Delete Account. If you have a registered account you can also use the account deletion page, or email us.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the Game.
